Warm Bath
Another strategy to promote sleep is soaking for 30 minutes in a tub of warm water within 2 hours of bedtime, but not right before bedtime.11 This can promote relaxation and body temperature changes that facilitate sleep. Your body temperature will increase while you are in the tub and will decrease when you get out, which mimics the normal changes in body temperature that occur before going to sleep.
