The Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Picture Cards are a combination of illustrations and graphic photos showing human male and female anatomy with symptoms related to STIs.
These cards are designed primarily for use by Disease Intervention Specialists (DIS) and other health professionals. The cards are a practical, illustrative educational tool to help individuals who have had or are at risk of exposure to STIs.
The cards may also be useful when working with higher-risk populations in settings such as:
- Correctional facilities.
- STI and HIV prevention and care clinics.
- Substance abuse centers.
- Family planning clinics.
- Schools and private medical care facilities.
Each picture card file contains both:
- The illustrations/images.
- Separate slide(s) with descriptions and source credit.
