Accessing your Pharmacy Benefits
The World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program covers all prescriptions used to treat certified WTC-related health condition(s), whether those prescriptions are filled through local in-network retail or home delivery pharmacies. These prescriptions are covered at no cost as long as they are prescribed by a Program provider.
To be eligible for WTC Health Program pharmacy benefits, a member must have a health condition certified by the WTC Health Program. These benefits are administered and accessed through the Program’s Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), Express Scripts.
The Express Scripts network includes over 62,000 retail pharmacy locations nationwide, the Express Scripts Pharmacy, specialty pharmacies, and home delivery options for most members.
To learn more about how to fill your WTC-related prescription(s), please visit the Filling your Prescription page.
Once a member is certified with a WTC-related condition, Express Scripts will automatically mail a WTC Health Program Prescription ID Card and a welcome letter with instructions for how to use these pharmacy benefits
A coordination of benefits process is required for Survivors to get their WTC-related prescriptions. To learn more about coordination of benefits in the WTC Health Program please visit the Coordination of Benefits page.
