World Trade Center Health Registry Extension Grant Opportunity Forecast Announced
September 29, 2025
The WTC Health Program has released a grant opportunity forecast to extend the WTC Health Registry (the Registry). A forecast alerts applicants to a funding opportunity that is planned but not yet published. The forecast provides essential information about the opportunity, including the Opportunity Number and information about eligibility.
The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and the New York City Department of Health (NYC DOH) established the Registry in 2002 to monitor the health of individuals exposed to the 9/11 disaster. The Registry is currently managed by the NYC DOH in a cooperative agreement with the WTC Health Program. The cooperative agreement with the NYC DOH ends June 30, 2026.
Prospective applicants should review the forecast on Grants.gov carefully to begin preparing for the application process.
