Addendum
NCHS has released an addendum to the 2018 NAMCS public use file data documentation, and a SAS dataset with refined weighting variables for patient visit and physician data. The refined weighting variables reflect changes made to the weighting methodology used with the 2019 NAMCS.
The addendum includes a program to merge the new variables with the 2018 NAMCS public use data file. Researchers can use this program to apply the same methodology for both the 2018 and 2019 datasets.
