Guided Tours (10-30 people)
Group Size: 10-30 (not including chaperones for groups with students under age 18)
What to Expect
Tours can be adapted for sixth through twelfth graders or older. Each guided tour session lasts approximately two hours, including independent exploration.
Tour options
- Story of CDC: Different exhibits will be highlighted based on the docent’s expertise in our permanent exhibition.
- Current Temporary Exhibition: Different exhibits in the current temporary exhibition will be highlighted. Please be sure to look at the dates of the exhibition on display.
How to
- Book your reservations. The reservation is confirmed by e-mail.
- Email completed security list for under 18-year-old groups OR adult groups to museumtours@cdc.gov at least a week before scheduled tour date.
Good to Know:
- Any guided tour reservation that does not submit the list of names a week in advance will be cancelled- the group will no longer be able to enter the museum or the campus.
- For school groups, please provide names of alternate chaperones to be approved in advance by security should you need to change chaperone(s) the day of the visit. Security will not allow last minute change of any visitors not preapproved
