Esri ArcGIS 10.3, Excel 2013
Data Source: Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Electronic Death Registry System, 2010-2014 (combined data). Data was accessed on October 28, 2015. Age-adjusted mortality rates are per 100,000 population and are age-adjusted to the 2000 U.S. Standard population.
Population estimates were provided by the Nevada State Demographer in December 2014.
Heart disease mortality rates for 2010-2014 were age-adjusted for each county in Nevada. The county rate was then compared to the state rate to determine if it was significantly lower/higher or not statistically different from the state rate.
