What's new
July 2024
DHDS now includes BRFSS data from 2016 to 2022!
BRFSS data from 2022 were analyzed and added to DHDS. DHDS includes estimates for six functional domains of disability (cognitive, hearing, mobility, vision, self-care, and independent living) and 30 demographic and health indicators.
Two new indicators are defined and incorporated into 2022 DHDS: Urban and Rural Classification and Ever Had Long COVID, based on relevant questions added to the 2022 BRFSS questionnaire. Additionally, the definitions of two DHDS indicators are updated to reflect changes in the wording of 2022 BRFSS questions: Currently Use E-cigarettes and Ever Had Cancer (CDC – 2022BRFSS Survey Data and Documentation).
