A new Vaccine Information Statement for COVID-19 vaccine and an updated VIS for RSV vaccine have been posted. We encourage providers to begin using these VISs immediately, but stocks of previous editions may be used until exhausted.

New Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and Updated Multiple Vaccines (“Your Child’s First Vaccines”) VISs Now Available

A new Vaccine Information Statement for respiratory syncytial virus vaccine and an updated VIS for multiple vaccines have been posted. We encourage providers to begin using these VISs immediately, but stocks of previous editions may be used until exhausted.

New Smallpox/Monkeypox VIS Now Available

A new Vaccine Information Statement for Smallpox/Monkeypox vaccine has been posted on June 1, 2022. It may be used starting immediately.

February 4, 2022

New PCV VIS and Updated Zoster/Shingles (Recombinant) VISs Now Available

A new Vaccine Information Statement for pneumococcal conjugate vaccine and an updated VIS for recombinant zoster vaccine have been posted. We encourage providers to begin using these VISs immediately, but stocks of the previous editions may be used until exhausted.

  • The new pneumococcal conjugate VIS includes all currently available pneumococcal conjugate vaccines (PCV13, PCV15, and PCV20). This interim VIS replaces the previous PCV13 VIS.
  • The updated zoster/shingles (recombinant) VIS reflects recent changes to indications for use of the vaccine.

A new Vaccine Information Statement for dengue vaccine has been posted on December 17, 2021. It may be used starting immediately.

October 15, 2021

Updated Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, and Multi-Pediatric VISs Now Available

Updated VISs for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and rotavirus vaccines have been posted. An updated version of the "Your Child's First Vaccines" multiple pediatric vaccines VIS is also available now on our website. Providers are encouraged to begin using these updated VISs immediately, but stocks of the previous editions may be used until exhausted.

August 6, 2021

Updated VISs Now Available

Updated VISs for DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis), Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type b), HPV (human papillomavirus), live attenuated influenza, inactivated influenza, MMR, MMRV, meningococcal ACWY, meningococcal B, PCV (pneumococcal conjugate), polio, Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), Td (tetanus and diphtheria), and varicella vaccines have been posted. We encourage providers to begin using these updated VISs immediately, but stocks of the previous editions may be used until exhausted.
