World maps can be configured as categorical or qualitative maps showing data for as many or as few countries as desired. City styles also can be used on these map types.

Best Practices

Legends can be placed below the map so that it does not obstruct the users’ view of the map. Note that users can reposition the map in their viewer by dragging it. They can also zoom in and out.

Quick Build Notes

  1. Select World map as the Visualization Type.
  2. Upload your data.
  3. Type in the title and other text fields in the General panel.
  4. Select the Geography column.
  5. Select the Data Column.
