Work@Health Wellness Champions are organizations or employers who actively promote the Work@Health program within their networks. The Work@Health program provides expert training, technical assistance, and support to employers nationwide who want to create effective worksite health programs.
Examples of Wellness Champions include:
- Health departments.
- Business coalitions.
- Professional associations.
- Public health-based non-profits.
- Trade associations.
What Wellness Champions do
Work@Health Wellness Champions use their networks to spread the word about the program to employers and professionals who want to become Work@Health certified trainers.
They work to:
- Promote the Work@Health program to their network members and potential participants.
- Appoint a point of contact responsible for coordinating the program’s promotion.
- Assist the program team with follow-up activities.
