CDC, the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), and state/local labs are collaborating on the NGS Quality Initiative with guidance from a Technical Coordinating Committee. Funding comes from CDC’s Office of Advanced Molecular Detection, and project tools and products are available online.
Overview
CDC, APHL, and state and local public health laboratories are partners on the NGS Quality Initiative. Together they are in a unique position to coordinate the efforts of working groups, committees, subject matter experts, and partner organizations.
CDC and APHL convened a Technical Coordinating Committee made up of experts from several CDC centers and state public health laboratories. The Committee provides subject matter expertise and guidance on the Initiative’s QMS tools and documentation.
