About
In 2020, the Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) piloted a laboratory community of practice (CoP) on diagnostic excellence.
This project was an adaptation of the clinician-based ECHO Model™, developed by the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center.
DLS held monthly 60–90-minute ECHO sessions. CoP members convened to share best practices, tools, and resources to help in reducing existing laboratory errors to improve diagnostic excellence.
