CDC, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and public health officials in several jurisdictions are investigating a multistate hepatitis A outbreak potentially linked to imported frozen clams. The outbreak investigation is ongoing. During July 2025 – June 2026, a foodborne hepatitis A outbreak has impacted people in four states: Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, and Pennsylvania.
