The information, templates, products, and materials included in this Youth HIV/STD Prevention Communication Resources Toolkit are designed to provide communication planning guidance and resources for implementing school-based HIV, STD, and unintended pregnancy prevention efforts.
This toolkit will help education agencies plan, develop, and implement effective communication strategies, activities, and materials in support of HIV/STD prevention efforts and outcomes.
Who Should Use This Toolkit?
- Education agency student health program managers and health educators
- Those responsible for health communication for school districts
- Those who teach health education and sexual health education
Other school administrators and school staff involved in decision-making, planning, and/or implementation of sexual health education (SHE), sexual health services (SHS), and safe and supportive environments (SSE) may also find the toolkit useful.
