The Vision and Eye Health Surveillance System (VEHSS) includes the following case definitions. Case definitions are the outcomes tracked by the surveillance system. The VEHSS case definitions are designed to allow similar concepts to be measured in different types of data. For each type of data, data indicators define how these concepts are measured.
