About

This table describes the number of cases of tuberculosis (TB) disease among persons with HIV test results and with HIV coinfection by origin of birth in the United States from 2011 to 2024.

Key Highlights

  • Consistent with previous years, approximately 90% of TB cases had HIV test results, a key medical risk factor for TB.
  • Of those with test results, 5% had HIV co-infection reported.
