Revision to the 1972 Criteria for a Recommended Standard: Occupational Exposure. Includes new recommendation beyond attempting to conserve hearing by focusing on preventing occupational noise-induced hearing loss. This document also provides recommendations for the management of hearing loss prevention programs for workers whose noise exposures equal or exceed 85 dBA.
