Agricultural Injury Surveillance

On February 26, 2015, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced a publicPublish meeting and an opportunity to comment on future directions for the surveillance of injuries within the agricultural production industry. This public comment period closed May 27, 2015. The Federal Register Notice and related background materials can be viewed below. NIOSH will consider all comments received in the revised agricultural production industry injury surveillance plan, which is anticipated to be released in Fiscal Year 2016.
