Why participate

The Collaborating Center for Questionnaire Design and Evaluation Research (CCQDER) frequently needs participants for research projects. We recruit potential respondents for a variety of projects.

CCQDER projects are studies conducted by the federal government to evaluate questions that may be used on future federal surveys. CCQDER is a program of the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS).

How to participate

People interested in participating in future research interviews can join the CCQDER's respondent database. Adults 18 and older are eligible to join. Joining the database means you will be the first to know about exciting, upcoming health studies.

Open projects

There are two studies currently open and recruiting participants. All participants must be age 18 or older.

Only one call or email is necessary for each project listed. Reaching out more than once will not increase your chances of being selected to participate. Thank you for your interest in participating!

Cannabis, marijuana, CBD, or hemp

NCHS is looking for adults to answer a variety of questions related to cannabis, marijuana, CBD, or hemp use and experiences. The project also needs participants who have never used or do not currently use cannabis, marijuana, CBD, or hemp.

  • A typical interview is no longer than 60 minutes.
  • Participants will receive a $50 electronic gift card.
  • All shared information will be kept confidential.

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

NCHS is looking for adults 18 years of age or older who have ADHD.

  • A typical interview is no longer than 60 minutes.
  • Participants will receive a $50 electronic gift card.
