Resources and services

The CDC library provides resources on public health. That covers disease prevention, epidemiology, infectious diseases, global health, chronic diseases, environmental health, injury prevention, and occupational safety. It also features a landmark collection in Public Health. The Pittsburgh library specializes in mining and mining safety materials.

The library publishes CDC Science Clips, a weekly public health literature alert. The Science Clips includes newly published journal articles by CDC authors. It occasionally features other current articles of interest to CDC partners and the public health community.

Staff at State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial (STLT) Public Health Agencies have several options for obtaining library resources. Most of the options listed are available at no cost.
