Policies & Patrons

1. CDC Patrons includes employees, researchers, officers, contractors, and fellows, have top priority for library services. These patrons have access to circulation, interlibrary loan/document delivery, and reference services with their CDC user ID and password.

2. Friends of CDC includes CDC Foundation and DHHS staff, have second priority for library services. These patrons have access to circulation, interlibrary loan/document delivery, and reference services.

3. General Public includes individuals or groups who visit a physical library location. Examples include CDC partners, health departments, advocacy groups, corporations, librarians, students and faculty, teachers, international visitors and community members with public health inquiries. These patrons have access to reference services.
