Immunization information systems (IIS) are confidential, population-based, computerized databases that record all immunization doses administered by participating providers to persons residing within a given geopolitical area. Child Consent to Participate

For children, TennIIS requires implicit consent with opt-out by law. Children are included in the IIS unless their parent(s)/guardian(s) choose to opt them out.
