Immunization information systems (IIS) are confidential, population-based, computerized databases that record all immunization doses administered by participating providers to persons residing within a given geopolitical area. This information details how to access immunization records for vaccine recipients who received a vaccine in American Samoa.

General Information

American Samoa's IIS is called WebIZ, and it includes immunization records for vaccine recipients of all ages.

For children, WebIZ requires mandatory inclusion by operational policy. Children are included in the IIS with no possibility for their parent(s)/guardian(s) to opt them out.

For adults, WebIZ requires mandatory inclusion by operational policy. Adults are included in the IIS with no possibility to opt out.

American Samoa does have a mandate for vaccination providers to report immunizations to WebIZ. The reporting mandate:
