Materials for Parents

Partners and programs can use these CDC materials to help answer the questions parents may have. These materials include fact sheets about HPV vaccination and HPV vaccine safety.

Spanish versions

Providing educational resources to parents will help them understand the importance of vaccinating their children and answer many of their questions about vaccination. Below are links to CDC fact sheets, posters, schedules, and VISs that can be printed and handed out as needed.

Ordering Materials

CDC works to provide information that helps protect the health of individuals and communities. Our materials are available for use at conferences and other events, as well as for staff training, and for direct distribution to parents. You can now order or download books, fact sheets, pamphlets, and other educational materials at CDC-INFO on Demand. If you’re ordering fewer than 5 of any item, please consider downloading the materials you need.

To find adolescent vaccination materials:

  1. Visit CDC-INFO on Demand – Publications
  2. Under the “Programs” drop-down box, select “Immunization and Vaccines (Teen)” and then hit search.
  3. You will see a listing of our items. Simply add the quantity that you need and hit “add to cart.” If the materials you are looking for are out of stock, please contact preteenvaccines@cdc.gov to see if we have any stock in house.
  4. Once you have items in your cart, click the check-out button in the far right column and finish your order.

Content Syndication

Display Information via Content Syndication

There are a few simple steps to have CDC’s most up-to-date content on your site, apps, and social media. This service is called, ‘content syndication’. Simply place specific code within your online digital and social media tools to display any CDC content including HPV topics.

How to Make this Happen

  1. Sign up in a few easy steps
  2. Select the content you want to display on your site.
  3. Narrow your choices to a specific topic (for example “HPV”, “HPV vaccine”, “HPV infection”, etc.). NOTE: If you don’t see what you want, request a specific page to be syndicated.
  4. Add the code where you want the content to appear. You can access the code on the embed code tab available when previewing content to be selected.
