  • The EEP student application is open through April 21, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
  • Students must be available for at least one of the available rotation periods in its entirety. Students must attend an in-person orientation in Atlanta, Georgia, at the start of their rotation.

Application Timeline for 2027 Rotations

Application Period

February 23 - April 21, 2026

Tentative 2027 Rotations

Students must be available during one of the set rotation dates and complete their assigned rotation in its entirety. Requests for date changes and exceptions will not be considered. Students are allowed two days of excused absence with program approval. When applying, you should select your availability for each of the set rotation periods.

Students must attend the mandatory in-person orientation at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, during the first three days of the rotation (subject to change at program's discretion). Costs associated with orientation are covered by CDC for students placed in non-Atlanta sites, subject to CDC policies.

January 11–February 19, 2027 (6 weeks)

Rotation B

January 11–March 5, 2027 (8 weeks)

Rotation C
March 22–April 30, 2027 (6 weeks)
Rotation D

March 22–May 14, 2027 (8 weeks)
