Weekly estimates of COVID-19 vaccination coverage among Medicare beneficiaries ages 65 and older are based on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Adults 65+ COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage

COVID-19 vaccination coverage among Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries aged 65 years and older is assessed using data files from the Medicare Fee-For-Service (FFS) administrative claims data managed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Weekly COVID-19 vaccination coverage estimates were calculated using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, based on beneficiaries enrolled as of August 1 of each year. For the 2025 ̶ 26 season, COVID-19 vaccines received since August 27, 2025, were included.*

*For the 2023 ̶ 24 season, COVID-19 vaccines received September 1, 2023, through August 17, 2024, were included. For the 2024 ̶ 25 season, COVID-19 vaccines received August 22, 2024, through August 16, 2025, were included.

Estimates are based on data released by CMS on November 20th, 2025. Overall includes persons categorized as ‘Unknown’ for race and ethnicity category.
