CDC works with national organizations to promote lifestyle management programs, joint-friendly physical activity, and other activities to improve health and well-being for adults with arthritis.

States
CDC works with and funds the following 12 states to:
a) Build infrastructure to promote physical activity and other lifestyle management programs for people with arthritis.
b) Increase arthritis awareness, physical activity assessment, counseling, and referrals for arthritis management among health care providers who treat patients with arthritis.
