Summary
This paper lays out a prescriptive roadmap for ASL prevention research. The paper identifies a select number of potential high-risk groups to be prioritized in such research. These groups include: People with genetic risk factors, people with mild motor impairment, relatives of people with ALS or other neurological diseases, people who have already developed frontotemporal dementia, veterans, and people with exposures to environmental risks. The paper additionally identifies a list of priorities to facilitate ALS prevention research.
