Summary
This study aims to identify differences in demographics, disease characteristics, treatments, and co-morbidities between patients with ALS reversals and those with the usual progression of ALS. Findings indicated that ALS reversals were more likely to be seen in PALS that are male, have limb onset disease, and initially progress faster. Moreover, the odds of having taken curcumin, lutein, cannabidiol, azathioprine, copper, glutathione, vitamin D, and fish oil were higher for those with ALS reversal compared to controls.
