Community Engagement, Jurisdictional Experience, and Previous Tobacco-Related Ordinances in Neighboring Communities as Drivers of Flavored Tobacco Bans in Los Angeles County

The first graph depicts a map of the state of California and shows that Los Angeles County is located in the southwestern portion of the state. There are 5 additional maps for Los Angeles County, one for each of the following years: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. These 5 maps show the jurisdictions that had a flavored tobacco ban campaign and those that adopted a flavored tobacco ban. Over time, the number of jurisdictions that adopted a flavored tobacco ban increased, especially among those with a flavored tobacco ban campaign.
