Data range from the final quarter of 2015 through the final quarter of 2019. Revenue was the lowest in the first quarter of collections with just over $334,000, and the highest in the second quarter of 2016 with $533,417.

The map of the Navajo Nation outlines the 110 local communities that received revenues from the 2% tax on foods of minimal-to-no nutritious value. The nation is surrounded largely by national forests. The data highlight substantial variability across the Navajo Nation in total funds disbursed, from $5,959 to $147,438, which is largely commensurate with population size and areas where tax funds were collected. The Western and Central agencies of the Navajo Nation received considerably more funds than the Eastern agency.
