Going Smokefree Matters

Everyone deserves to breathe smokefree air where they live, work and play. In 2006 the Surgeon General concluded that there is no risk-free level of exposure to secondhand smoke.  Completely eliminating smoking indoors is the only way to protect nonsmokers from involuntary exposure to secondhand smoke. Separating smokers from nonsmokers, cleaning the air, and ventilating buildings cannot eliminate secondhand smoke exposure.
