Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program: Information for Awardees

Key points

This section provides VFC Program information for awardees in states and territories to assist with childhood vaccine distribution and no-cost vaccine administration to enrolled private physician offices and public health clinics.

ISD Awardee SharePoint Portal

To find department of health webpages, visit state & territorial health department websites.

The ISD Awardee SharePoint Portal ensures resources are readily available for awardees and serves as a centralized repository for cleared documents—this includes documents and resources from the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program library that is located within the Portal. The VFC Program library contains documents and resources needed to assist awardee staff in their VFC Program operations and management.

To be granted access to the ISD Awardee SharePoint Portal

Contact your supervisor or your Immunization Operations and Services Branch (IOSB) Project Officer.

To visit the Portal

Awardees will have to log into the Secure Access Management Services (SAMS) Portal which is a website that allows public health partners and providers to access information and computer applications managed by the CDC. Many CDC programs use the SAMS Portal as their entry point for partner-only information and applications.

If you do not already have SAMS access, please reach out to your Immunization Operations and Services Branch Project Officer for assistance. If you are unsure who your Project Officer is, you should reach out to your program’s VFC Program Coordinator.
