Fourth International Conference on HFRS and HantavirusesCDC will cosponsor the 4th International Conference on HFRS and Hantaviruses March 5-7, 1998, in Atlanta. The conference will highlight scientific information concerning 1) clinical aspects, 2) laboratory diagnostics, 3) pathogenesis and immune response, 4) hantavirus ecology, 5) hantavirus epidemiology, 6) molecular biology and cell interactions, 7) health education and prevention, and 8) antiviral and vaccine development. The conference will include plenary sessions with invited speakers and oral and poster sessions based on accepted abstracts. The deadline for abstract submission is October 31, 1997.
