Health Literacy

CDC’s Office of the Associate Director for Communication recently updated the online, self-paced course, Health Literacy for Public Health Professionals. The goal of this course is to educate public health professionals on the importance of health literacy and their role in providing health information and services and promoting public health literacy. The updated course includes current information, new resources, and a greater emphasis on organizational health literacy. Whether you’re just starting out in the field of health literacy or want a refresher of health literacy best practices, this course is for you!  It also provides free continuing education credits.
