09/26/2024: Lab Alert: Potential Shipping Delays Due to Inclement Weather Conditions

In anticipation of severe weather conditions affecting the southeastern United States, including Georgia and surrounding areas, shipments to and from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta may experience disruptions. The Shipping and Export Activities (SEA) at CDC will be operating on a limited shipping schedule and will prioritize shipments for emergencies only. Non-essential shipments from CDC will be postponed until the week of Monday, September 30, 2024. Please hold any shipments to CDC until Monday, September 30, if possible. Contact CDC if an emergency shipment must be made before Monday.
