The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will host a virtual biosafety town hall on medical device design in collaboration with clinical and public health laboratory partners and instrument manufacturers on June 24, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM EDT. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an overview and discussion on biosafety when using laboratory instruments to test biological specimens.
Meeting information and documents, including instructions for accessing the live meeting broadcast, will be available on the CDC Safe Labs town hall website.
Interested persons or organizations are invited to submit written comments. Comments and other supporting materials will be posted on the CDC Safe Labs town hall website. Submit written comments to dlsbiosafety@cdc.gov on or before June 17, 2022.
