These data are submitted to CDC by current U.S.─licensed manufacturers of influenza vaccine and a subset of influenza vaccine wholesalers and distributors that receive vaccine directly from these manufacturers. These data are not projected but approximate all influenza vaccines distributed in the United States.

During the 2024─2025 influenza season, due to 53 weeks in the 2024 calendar year, the last data collection and reporting period spanned ten days from December 22, 2024, through December 31, 2024. The first data collection and reporting period spanned from January 1, 2025, through January 11, 2025; the estimates for weeks ending January 4 and 11, 2025, are the same and represent vaccinations distributed during this period.

During the 2023─2024 season, the first data collection and reporting period spanned from January 1, 2024, through January 13, 2024; the estimates for weeks ending January 6 and 13, 2024, are the same and represent vaccinations distributed during this period.
