What to know
- The Updated Tables, March 2013, include results from the NHANES survey periods 2005-2006, 2007-2008, and 2009-2010.
- Chemicals with updated data in this release include fungicide metabolites, organophosphorus insecticides or metabolites, anions thiocyanate and nitrate, phthalate metabolites, phytoestrogens and metabolites, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon metabolites.

Updated Tables, March 2013
The Updated Tables in this release include several chemicals that have results available from one or more of the three survey periods of 2005-2006, 2007-2008, and 2009-2010. The chemicals with updated data in this release are two fungicide metabolites, ethylene thiourea and propylene thiourea; four organophosphorus insecticides or metabolites; the anions, thiocyanate and nitrate; phthalate metabolites; phytoestrogens and metabolites; and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon metabolites.
The limits of detection (LOD) for phytoestrogens were stated incorrectly in NHANES 2003-2004, and they have been corrected in this release of the Updated Tables. These differences did not alter the geometric means or percentiles for the phytoestrogens as shown in the Fourth Report on Human Exposure to Environmental Chemicals and in the Updated Tables.
The polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon metabolite, 4-hydroxyphenanthrene, has results available only for NHANES 2003-2004 and 2005-2006. This chemical is no longer measured after NHANES 2005-2006 because there were potential interferences in the method that would affect the quality of the results.
