Purpose: The primary objectives of the Long Beach Zika CASPER were to:
- Evaluate residents' knowledge of Zika virus
- Assess knowledge of all mosquito-borne diseases
- Assess how to protect from mosquitoes
- Identify and manage potential mosquito breeding sites (Vector Control)

CASPER addressing the Mariposa County, CA drought

Location: Mariposa County
Purpose: The purpose of the CASPER was to do the following:
- Assess perceptions of the October 2016 drought and of water use
- Learn how households are coping with dry wells
- Identify ways households are conserving water
- Determine where and how households are seeking assistance
- Establish whether the drought was causing mental health effects
- Discover if the drought exacerbated chronic diseases
- Assess disaster communication issues

Location: City of South Gate (Los Angeles County)
Purpose: Assess community perceptions and concerns about their environmental health.
2014
South Napa earthquake
Type: Response
Event: Earthquake
Location: Cities of Napa, American Canyon, and Vallejo
Purpose: Two CASPERs were conducted in Napa and Solano Counties in response to the South Napa earthquake in August of 2014. The purpose was to determine injuries, mental health, and chronic disease exacerbations as well as preparedness in the community.

Geothermal emissions

Location: Lake County
Purpose: Assess geothermal emissions, harmful algal blooms, preparedness, and well water in Lake County, CA.
