The Biomonitoring Iowa program assesses exposures to heavy metals, pesticides, and environmental phenols among state residents using private well water. The program also assesses maternal exposure to metals and pesticides during pregnancy using residual samples from the Maternal-Fetal Tissue Bank at the University of Iowa.
