HBI Road Map for American Indian and Alaska Native Peoples

The HBI Road Map for American Indian and Alaska Native Peoples offers actions to improve brain health throughout life. It promotes health equity by using a strength-based approach that honors the diverse American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) cultures. It is developed with respect to tribal sovereignty and is influenced by the traditions of the AI/AN peoples.

This Road Map was guided by a Leadership Committee of tribal leaders, physicians, experts, and researchers in public health and across the care continuum. The Road Map reflects input from over 200 community members and professionals working in AI/AN communities.
