Making Hotel Reservations
CDC is pleased to offer the prevailing FY2010 Federal Government rate for conference attendees. This rate applies for single, double, triple, and quad occupancy. State and local taxes are additional (as of August 31, 2009, taxes are 15%, subject to change without notice at any time).
***Special note about the conference room rate: The Federal Government per diem lodging rate is set by the General Services Administration, and is subject to change at any time without notice. You will be charged the current per diem rate at the time of the conference, regardless of what the rate was at the time you made your reservation. For planning purposes, as of August 31, 2009, the FY210 lodging per diem rate in the Atlanta, Georgia area is anticipated to be $140 per night.
Reserve your hotel room (exit)
Reservations in the specially-negotiated conference room block will be available through Monday, March 22, 2010 or until the reserved Conference block is filled, whichever comes first. Reservations at the special rate are always subject to availability.
Reservation Guarantee and Cancellations
The hotel will require a credit card guarantee to secure a room reservation. Reservations may be cancelled without penalty until 24 hours prior to the start of the conference or scheduled arrival.
Getting to the Hotel
Driving Directions from the Airport
The hotel is located about 12 miles from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Take 75/85 North, take the right-hand exit 248-C (International Blvd.). Turn left onto International Blvd. Turn right at the third traffic light onto Peachtree Center Avenue. Hyatt Regency Atlanta's Motor Lobby entrance is one block on the left.
MARTA
Take the northbound train to the Peachtree Center Station stop, one stop north of the Five Points transfer station. Exit the train and take the escalator up towards Peachtree Center Mall. Once inside the mall, follow the signs to the covered walkway into the hotel. After October 1, 2009, a one-way MARTA fare will cost $2.00.
Taxi
A 25-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel costs roughly $30 one way.
Shuttle
A number of companies provide bus and van services from the airport to the downtown Atlanta area, with fares averaging from $10 to $20 each way.

Check-in and Checkout
Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm; arrangements may be made with the hotel for late check-out based on availability.
