Workgroup activities include monthly telephone conference calls, development of tools to benefit TB educators, marketing of TB ETN, and planning the annual conference. Conference PlanningCochairs: Ashley Ewing, BS, North Carolina TB Control Program and Sheanne Davis, BS, CHES, Washington State Department of Health This workgroup plans for and assists in coordinating the annual TB ETN conference. Membership DevelopmentCochairs: Sherri Smith, Ebony Sisters Campaigning for AIDS Prevention Education and Ann Poole, Georgia Department of Human Resources This workgroup focuses on increasing TB ETN membership, communicating to members the TB ETN activities, providing information on professional development opportunities, and marketing TB ETN. Cultural CompetencyCo-chairs: Martha Alexander, NYC DOH - Bureau of TB Control and Kristina Ottenwess, Southeastern National TB Center This workgroup coordinates training and education resources and activities to support members in ensuring cultural competence in TB programs.
