Cognitive Function and Completion of an Advance Directive

In 2007, CDC scientists conducted a study to examine the association between cognitive functioning and completion of a durable power of attorney for health care. A description of this study and associated results were published in The Gerontologist and can be found at “Completion of a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care: What Does Cognition Have to Do With It?
