Picturing Health: Norman Rockwell and the Art of IllustrationMarch 10 - June 4, 2008
Organized by the Norman Rockwell Museum, rare, original paintings exploring the importance of physical fitness, health and healing across the generations. Joined by original works with similar themes by today's most prominent visual artists.
Coordinating Center for Health Information and Service (CCHIS)
The mission of the Coordinating Center for Health Information and Service (CCHIS) is to provide leadership and promote innovation in public health informatics, health statistics, health marketing, and scientific communications. It includes the following programs:
- National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) provides statistical information that guides actions and policies to improve the health of the American people.
- National Center for Public Health Informatics (NCPHI) provides national leadership in the application of information technology in the pursuit of public health.
- National Center for Health Marketing (NCHM) provides national leadership in health marketing science and in its application to impact public health.
