Safe Drinking Water

The United States is fortunate to have one of the safest public drinking water supplies in the world. In parts of the world where community water systems do not exist, communities struggle to adapt their water and sanitation systems to their changing needs. CDC's Global Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Program empowers communities to take part in their own water safety plan.
