Stroke Death Rates for 1991 through 1998 for American Indians and Alaska Natives Aged 35 Years and Older by County. The map shows that counties with the highest stroke death rates - meaning the top quintile - are scattered primarily among the northern states stretching from Alaska to Wisconsin.
