Linnet Griffiths

Linnet Griffiths serves as the Deputy Director of CDC’s Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Equity (OEEOWE). Prior to joining OEEOWE, Linnet served as the Associate Director for Policy, Performance, and Communication in the Office of Safety, Security and Asset Management where she oversaw activities related to employee emergency preparedness, such as the emergency text message alert system. During her time at CDC, she has served as Senior Advisor to the Chief Financial Officer and the Associate Director for Policy in the Public Health Surveillance and Informatics Program Office in the Office of Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services. Griffiths first joined CDC in 1998 as a policy specialist in the National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.

Before joining CDC, she worked as a budget analyst at both the U.S. Census Bureau and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business administration and management from Bowie State University in Maryland.
